October 2011 - Wow! Has it been that long since I've updated this page??
So, what's new in Sara Baril's music life....well - I always have new songs on the go, and I'm trying to get the accompaniment finished for publishing. I will be doing a re-shuffle/re-organization of my sheet music soon so it will be easier to find according to topic. Keep checking for that.
I didn't update last year, but a new song "Holy One" was released last Christmas. If you're looking for new sheet music for Christmas, you might like this one.
Life for me has been very busy on a personal level with my children, but we always squeeze some time in for new music. Keep checking www.ldsmusicnow.com for new songs.
I will be posting a new children's Christmas song called "Was I There?" in the next couple of weeks. My 13 year old daughter sang this last year at a Christmas concert I did with Wayne Burton. It was written on a Wedensday and learned and performed Thursday and Friday. First solo ever and she did it in front of 200 people! Whew! We're glad we survived that!
Also, 3 new songs released in January 2010: "Joy In the Journey", "Living Water" and "Grateful Praise". I also have about 5 more songs in the process of being written down for you and hope to release them soon! Keep checking back! Thanks for visiting my site!

October 23/07 - Sara has composed a series of piano instrumentals and sheet music is coming! Watch for these new songs over the next few months! They'll be posted to hear under the "instrumental" category on TheNeighborhoodJukebox and the sheet music will be available soon on LDSmusicnow.com.
September 16/07 - Sara has a new song posted on LDSmusicnow.com. It's called "A Heart Like His". It's something she wrote based on the book "A Heart Like His: Making Space For God's Love In Your Life" by Virginia H. Pearce. This song will be performed in a Stake Relief Society Visiting Teaching conference in Nova Scotia, Canada in October.
September 4/07 - Clips from an interview Sara had with BYU Radio in August were aired September 3rd at 5:18 pm MDT and September 4 at 9:21 am MDT.

August 12/07 - Sara's new song about baptism, "I Will Remember Him", is now available at LDSmusicnow.com in sheet music form. This new song was written for her son's baptism in July 2007 and has a beautiful melody with a simple message about covenants. |
